The UP Alliance of Chemical Engineering Students known as UP AChES (ey- ches) is a duly recognized socio-academic organization based in the Department of Chemical Engineering University of the Philippines Los Baños Campus (UPLB). It was established by 45 young, vibrant and highly spirited Batch 2003 and Batch 2004 Chemical Engineering undergraduate students of UPLB.

The University of the Philippines Biochemistry Society is a non-profit, socio-scientific organization based at the College of Arts and Sciences of the University of the Philippines Manila.

It was Jose Olivares back in 1929 who established the UP ChemSoc. Back then, it was conceived to attain the highest level of academic superiority and competence in chemistry as well as its related fields. It also aimed to instill social awareness and discipline among its members. These activities continued until the war broke out. The organization was revived back in 1947 and it is currently in its 81st year of exuding excellence in many aspects, both academic and otherwise.

Established in 1954, the UP KEM, is one of the largest socio-academic organizations recognized by the university. Awarded as the BEST ORG. by the Engineering Organizations Excellence Award in 2009, 2011 and 2012, it continues to uphold its legacy of academic and professional excellence and student leadership by participating in as well as organizing events up to the national level. With more than 150 members and 1200 alumni, UP KEM remains to be one of the strongest and most popular orgs in UP.

The University of Santo Tomas Biochemical Society is one of the major organizations from the Faculty of Pharmacy which provides adequate assistance to the members of the society as well as the other organizations from the Faculty of Pharmacy and the whole Thomasian community in making Biochemistry on top!

The University of Santo Tomas Chemical Society is a proactive organization that shall promote the advancement and application of science in general and chemistry in particular to all Thomasian students through its various projects and activities aimed towards increased competence in chemistry, scientific excellence, civic and socio-cultural awareness.
